Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Osteopath to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide holistic manual therapy to improve patients' musculoskeletal health, promote wellness, and support recovery. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and osteopathic techniques to deliver personalized treatment plans in a professional clinical setting.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their medical history and current health concerns.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing osteopathic manual techniques such as soft tissue manipulation, joint mobilization, and craniosacral therapy.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients on posture, ergonomics, exercise, and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing health and wellness.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest osteopathic practices, research, and industry standards through continuous professional development.
Experience
- Valid certification or license as an Osteopath or equivalent credential in accordance with local regulatory requirements.
- Prior experience in a clinical setting providing osteopathic or manual therapy is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and reassure patients effectively.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and patient care.
- Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with complementary therapies, holistic health approaches, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
