The Human Resources Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective execution of all HR processes at site level, supporting operational continuity, workforce stability and compliance.
The role translates regional HR strategy into daily operations, ensuring discipline, consistency and control across all workforce-related activities while acting as the first line of resolution for employee and labor matters.
Ensure a stable, productive and compliant workforce by:
Controlling labor environment and risks
Enabling supervisors to manage their teams effectively
Executing HR processes with rigor and consistency
Maintaining strong presence and visibility on the shop floor

III/ MISSIONS AND ACTIVITIES
MISSION
1. Workforce Management & Labor Stability
Perform regular plant floor presence (daily Gemba walk) to monitor employee conditions and engagement
Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely manner
Manage disciplinary processes and ensure fair application of policies
Administer promotions and internal movements for unionized employees according to applicable agreements
Monitor labor climate and proactively identify risks
2. Recruitment, Onboarding & Workforce Planning
Lead recruitment and selection for hourly and salaried employees at site level
Ensure proper workforce coverage aligned with production needs
Guarantee effective onboarding and integration of new hires
Support manpower planning in coordination with operations
3. HR Operations & Administration
Support pre-payroll validation and ensure accuracy of employee data (hires, terminations, changes)
Coordinate employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, transfers, exits)
Maintain HR records and ensure data integrity
Ensure execution of daily, weekly and monthly Plant & HR routines
4. Performance, Training & Development
Coordinate performance review cycles and salary adjustments
Follow up on training programs and ensure compliance with required certifications
Support development of supervisors in people management practices
Promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
5. Compliance, Audits & Governance
Ensure compliance with labor laws, collective agreements and company policies
Support internal and external audits (ISO, financial, regulatory)
Coordinate WorkSafe and employee-related compliance requirements
Ensure proper documentation and traceability of HR processes
6. Employee Services & Engagement
Supervise employee services (transportation, cafeteria or local equivalents if applicable)
Participate in site committees (Health & Safety, Engagement, etc.)
Support communication of company updates and results to employees
Coordinate site-level events aligned with engagement strategy
7. HR Metrics & Reporting
Monitor key HR indicators:
Turnover
Absenteeism
Productivity-related metrics
Labor relations trends
Prepare and present HR monthly reports for site leadership
Provide insights and recommendations to improve workforce performance
8. Manager Enablement Coach supervisors and managers on:
Employee relations
Performance management
Attendance and discipline
Reinforce leadership accountability in people management
Reduce dependency on HR for day-to-day people’s decisions
9. CARRY OUT OTHER MISSIONS / ACTIVITIES UPON REQUEST FROM HIS/HER MANAGER(S)

Ensure compliance with company safety and environmental policies
Promote safe working practices and employee awareness
Report incidents, unsafe conditions or environmental risks
Participate in safety initiatives and ensure alignment with plant objectives
AUTHORITY
Apply disciplinary actions in line with company policies and labor agreements
Recommend hiring, promotions and terminations
Escalate high-risk labor or legal matters
Stop operations in case of safety or environmental risk (in coordination with EHS)
Represent HR at site level in employee-related matters
