Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Janitorial / Building Support Staff to join our team. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of residential and commercial properties while providing courteous support to residents, tenants, visitors, and property management staff.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and has good customer service and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Empty garbage and recycling receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste
- Clean and maintain garbage and recycling rooms, including keeping floors and surrounding areas tidy
- Clean and sanitize common washrooms and replenish supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas including hallways, lobbies, elevators, amenity rooms, offices, break rooms, and parking areas
- Clean and prepare amenity or common-use rooms before and after bookings as required
- Assist with amenity room bookings, key or access coordination, and general inquiries
- Assist with residential and commercial move-ins and move-outs, including coordinating elevator access where required
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to residents, commercial tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management staff
- Monitor cleaning products and supplies and notify management when replenishment is required
- Report maintenance concerns, damage, safety issues, or repairs requiring attention
- Help maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of assigned properties
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial, cleaning, building caretaker, or similar experience is an asset
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Strong work ethic and willingness to assist with general building support duties
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move cleaning supplies and other reasonable items as required
Position Details
- Pay: $18.25–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Full-time and part-time positions available
- Work may include weekdays and weekends depending on the assigned property and schedule
- Work locations may include residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties
