About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and managing CNC machining programs using CAM software, ensuring efficient production and high-quality finished products.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify CNC programs using CAM software.
- Generate toolpaths and machining strategies for 3 & 5 axis CNC mills.
- Optimize machining processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cycle times.
- Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and machining methods.
- Maintain accurate program documentation and revision control.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process.
Qualifications
- Experience as a CAM Operator, CNC Programmer, or similar manufacturing role.
- Proficiency with CAM software such as Lemoine, Fusion 360, SolidCAM, Powermill, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling, and materials.
- Experience with CNC milling operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Machining, or a related field is an asset.
- Experience in high-precision manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of CAD software and CNC machine setup procedures.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
