We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces, ensuring quality and durability. Must have 3-5 years experience. Must have painting in new construction experience. Must be able to be left at a jobsite and understand what your tasks are and what to do next when finished. must be respectful to all persons on the job site.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed.
- Apply caulking properly clean and neatly. Apply paint, coatings, or finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with attention to detail
- Use hand tools and power tools for surface preparation and finishing tasks
- able to climb ladders and lift paint pails.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Must have vehicle as jobsites are in and around lethbridge and surrounding areas (picture butte, coaldale etc)
Requirements
- Proven experience in painting
- Proven painting experience in a new construction setting
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, ladder usage and safety.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, must understand timelines.
