We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic/Technician with 2-4th year specializing in off-road machinery to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy equipment used in construction, agriculture, and industrial settings. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with off-road equipment such as Skid Steer, Track Loader, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. The position offers an opportunity to work with diverse machinery and contribute to the safe and reliable operation of our customer's fleets.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on off-road heavy equipment including Compact Track Loaders and Skid Steers
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery
- Operate equipment for testing or troubleshooting purposes when necessary
- Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to ensure a safe work environment
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs performed
Skills
- Strong knowledge of compact equipment, and other industrial or farm machinery
- Skilled in electrical troubleshooting, schematics reading, and repair techniques
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, HVAC systems related to heavy/compact equipment maintenance
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment when necessary
- Mechanical knowledge of hydraulic systems, engines, transmissions, and electrical components
This position requires a dedicated professional with a passion for maintaining high standards of safety and operational excellence in heavy/compact equipment maintenance.
Pay: $43.00-$50.00 per hour
