About the Role
We are currently hiring an experienced CNC Sheet Metal Press Brake Set-Up Operator to join a leading manufacturing facility in Milton. This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience in sheet metal fabrication and CNC press brake operations who are looking for a stable full-time night shift.
Shift: Monday to Friday | 11:15 PM – 7:45 AM
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC press brake, bending, punching, and shearing equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Select tooling and perform machine setups to meet production specifications.
- Perform pre-start safety inspections and ensure all machine guards and safety devices are functioning properly.
- Operate machine software and digital drawing systems to access production drawings.
- Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot minor issues, and prevent material jams.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and keep equipment in good working condition.
- Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards and dimensional accuracy.
- Organize completed production orders and move materials to the next operation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and manufacturing procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of CNC Sheet Metal Press Brake Set-Up experience.
- Experience operating sheet metal fabrication equipment such as press brakes, punching, shearing, or bending machines.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Good mathematical and measurement skills.
- Comfortable using computers and manufacturing software.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Milton, ON.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.
- Knowledge of quality inspection tools and measuring instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet production targets.

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
