Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, engaging with customers, and ensuring a memorable experience in a fast-paced environment. Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Givex POS. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food handling, cash handling, and hospitality while contributing to a lively social setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their experience
- Operate POS systems, including Givex POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
- Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements
- Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operation
- Manage multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining high-quality service
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines during food handling and serving
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy hours
Skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to connect with diverse guests
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures

- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and change calculation
