M.A.P. Water & Sewer Services Ltd. is currently seeking an Intermediate/Senior Project Manager to join our Construction Group. This opportunity to work with an Edmonton Construction Leader is a fulltime, permanent position, offering career growth potential within the company. The ideal candidate will have a Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering as well as 5+ years of construction experience (preferably within the Water and Sewer industry). Knowledge of Infrastructure construction is considered an asset.
Project Manager Responsibilities include:
· Tender/Contract review and submission including all necessary documents (Insurance, Bonds, Surety, Safety, Critical Path Scheduling, Construction Methodology, etc.)
· Overall Project involvement dedicated on scheduling, project costing/budget, change orders, production tracking, trouble shooting, special material orders, progress payments and invoicing
· Coordination of subcontractors including scheduling, quality assurance, inspection, warranty tracking, progress reports and invoice review progress payment approval.
· Liaison with clients, engineers, municipal employees, suppliers and industry peers.
Requirements:
· Post-secondary Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering
· Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe
· Solid organizational skills with an ability to multi-task and work independently
· Strong written and communication skills – dealing with the public an asset
· Valid Driver’s License
