Iconic Electric and Controls is currently searching for full-time Journeyperson and Apprentice Electricians to join our Cochrane team. Preference will be given to electricians and apprentices who have construction experience.

Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications.

Glanding and terminating TECK cables.

Grounding and bonding.
-
Install engineered and field run tray.

Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Comply with standards and procedures of the Iconic Electric and Controls' Health & Safety Manual and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.

Mentor and assist apprentices on electrical procedures and techniques. Assist apprentices in resolving technical problems.

Journeyperson Electrician Certificate

Indentured apprentices
-
Experience working in an industrial environment
-
Good mathematical, scientific, mechanical and logical reasoning abilities

Good communication and reading skills
-
Valid driver's license
-
Safety tickets an asset (i.e. CSTS, H2S Alive, Fall Arrest)

Must know how to properly use basic tools such as power saws and drills
