Responsibilities and Duties:
- Involvement in the planning and implementation for each clients individualized care and behaviour support plan
- Provide hand on care for each client in a safe, respectful, effective and responsible manner
- Recognize each individual differences, values and beliefs
- Support each persons activity plan
- Demonstrate crisis intervention skills
- Promote an environment and program that is both supportive and nurturing
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children and youth with Different Abilities an asset
- Criminal Record Check including vulnerable sector check (Valid within 6 months)
- Valid drivers licence and personal Vehicle
- Clear and current driver’s abstract
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
