Talbot Trail Physiotherapy, which has clinics located in St. Thomas, Aylmer, West Lorne, Blenheim, has immediate openings for full-time and part-time Physiotherapists.
We have an exciting new growth opportunity for a highly motivated Physiotherapist to join our team of dedicated health care professionals.
Our highly skilled and caring staff includes experts in their field providing a multi-disciplinary, hands-on approach to rehabilitation for a variety of issues including sports injuries, MVA, work related injuries and post-operative related disorders. As the largest clinic in the area, Talbot Trail Physiotherapy features a complete rehabilitation care team, including Physiotherapists, Registered Massage Therapist, Kinesiologists and Physiotherapy Assistants.
We utilize the most progressive treatment options and state-of-the-art equipment, including shockwave, to ensure the best possible recovery. Our therapists share the common goal of returning patients to their optimum functional ability and independence with quality care.
Qualifications & Experience:
o Licensed with the College of Physiotherapy of Ontario
o Experience in a Private Physiotherapy Clinic (preferred)
o Advanced manual therapy skills
o Experience with MVA, WSIB paperwork (preferred)
o Team player with superior communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
o Evaluate patients based on presenting injury utilizing standard assessment tools
o Design treatment plans and set specific, measurable, achievable goals for patients
o Educate patients and other team members on the nature of the injury and appropriate length of treatment
o Evaluate patients using proper outcome measures
o Properly organize workload considering patients and other team members’ needs
o Maintain daily and weekly clinical notes complying with our organizations structure and the College
o Submit accurate and timely clinical and administrative reports
o Uphold and promote our organizations values and philosophy relating to ethics, integrity and morality
o Complete all other tasks as assigned.
