Cashier for our Farmers' Market Booth on Saturdays - position is for our Boulangerie La Vendeenne market booths, alternating between Halifax Seaport Farmers Market (7:00am-2:00pm) and Halifax Brewery Farmers Market (7:00am-1:00pm) every Saturday morning!
Preferably looking for someone who can rotate between working at both of the above market locations, as needed.
We will sometimes have availability at the Alderney Landing Farmers Market in Dartmouth as well.
- Candidate must have own means of transportation to and from the markets.
- Candidate must have previous customer service, cashier or sales experience.
- Candidate must be comfortable speaking to customers, handling cash, and dealing with a busy work atmosphere, standing.
Each Saturday we schedule 2-3 employees working together at each market location, with one person handling the cash and the others handling the breads and pastries being sold.
