WE'RE HIRING — Part-Time Summer Barista
Boketto Dessert Café · Vancouver
We're a small dessert café looking for a barista to join us for the summer season. Our biggest need is Thursday through Sunday availability, so if your weekends and late afternoons are open, we want to hear from you.
Availability (priority: Thu–Sun)
- Thu: 12–5 PM
- Fri–Sun: 9 AM–3 PM, 3–11 PM, or 6–11 PM
- Mon–Wed: 2–10 PM or 5–10 PM
- Minimum Availability required 3 days per week, including weekends and holidays
What you'll do
- Make drinks, desserts, and small menu items
- Deliver warm, attentive customer service
- Keep the café clean, stocked, and organized
- Help train new team members as we grow
- Uphold food safety and hygiene standards
- Adapt quickly to seasonal menu changes and new recipes
What we're looking for
- 1–2 years of café or restaurant experience
- Latte art and solid coffee-making skills
- Food Safe Level 1
- A positive, team-first attitude
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and steady in a fast pace
