We are looking for a skilled reliable team player with a valid clean BC drivers license who can do the following:
Can work with minimal supervision. Be able to take direction.
Knowledge of Worksafe BC rules.
Be able to perform manual labour.
Be able to take direction and give direction.
This is a season labour position between 36-40 per week depending on climate conditions (snow and extreme weather events). We work 4-10 hour days using the BC Labour Code Averaging Agreement. Mon-Thur or Tues-Fri. No weekend work.
The job entails assisting in digging and backfilling, moving rock, site clean up, assist in or install drainage systems, assist in maintenance of drainage systems. Previous experience in drainage or landscaping is preferred. Must have personal protective equipment - gloves, green triangle work boots, rubber boots, proper clothing, regular work gloves. We supply ear protection, eye wear, hard hats if required, safety gloves, respirators or masks. Candidates with a full valid BC drivers licence will be given priority but it's not a requirement for the position.
