Position Overview
EV Fyfe & Associates Ltd. is seeking experienced and reliable Cross Dock Forklift Operators to join our fast-paced warehouse team. This role is critical to ensuring efficient freight movement, accurate handling, and on-time departures within our cross dock operation.
Shift Availability
- Afternoon Shift
- Night Shift
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in a cross dock environment
- Load and unload LTL freight from trailers
- Accurately stage freight for outbound shipments
- Perform dock checks and verify freight counts and condition
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all health & safety policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Qualifications & Experience
- 2–3 years of forklift experience (cross dock experience preferred)
- Valid forklift certification is an asset
- Experience with LTL freight handling and dock operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
