We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Shop Labourer for a temporary position in St. Catharines. The successful candidate will assist with general shop duties, including operating a drill press, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and supporting daily production activities.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a drill press and assist with basic shop operations
- Perform general labour duties as required
- Sweep floors and maintain cleanliness throughout the shop
- Complete shop clean-up and organization tasks
- Assist skilled trades and production staff with daily tasks
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous shop, manufacturing, or general labour experience considered an asset
- Comfortable using basic hand tools and shop equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable attendance and positive work attitude
Requirements:
- CSA-approved steel-toe safety boots required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical labour
- Must be comfortable working in a shop environment
Pay: $18.00 per hour
