International Medical Solutions (IMS; http://www.imstsvc.com/; 2425 Matheson Blvd East, Mississauga) is a software company where our biggest asset is our people and their expertise. We develop advanced medical imaging applications for the review and distribution of medical images.
Duties
You are expected to validate the correctness and performance of our medical imaging applications.
- Execute test procedures and validate software functionalities.
- Document problems and errors encountered during testing and discuss these with Developers.
- Work independently and efficiently to complete the necessary test procedures for release deadlines.
Requirements
This position is open to candidates who have the following:
- University degree (i.e. Bachelor's degree).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Windows, Mac, tablet and phone devices.
Compensation
The position is a four months renewable contract of 40 hours/week paid at a rate of $17.60/hour. The contract shall begin in August 2026.
Career Development and Training
The Software Tester will gain valuable experience in medical imaging modalities and technology in addition to hands-on configuration of a commercial application for medical imaging.
