Job Summary
We are seeking two experienced and reliable Truck Drivers for local cross-border routes. These positions involve transporting freight across borders, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local cross-border freight transportation.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed.
- Ensure all cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in accordance with company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, border officials, and clients to coordinate deliveries.
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle operability.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, traffic laws, and customs regulations during operations.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving, freight handling, or related fields preferred.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation such as forklifts is a plus.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Basic automotive repair skills are desirable for troubleshooting vehicle issues.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and compliance.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during cross-border routes.
- Physical ability to load/unload freight and perform vehicle inspections as required. This role is essential for maintaining smooth logistics operations across borders, requiring dedicated professionals committed to safety, efficiency, and excellent service delivery.
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
