Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman/Woman Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will bring your expertise in carpentry and construction to deliver high-quality craftsmanship across a variety of projects. Your hands-on skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret schematics will ensure that each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse building and renovation projects, contributing to the creation of durable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing structures.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute carpentry tasks
- Construct, install, repair, and maintain structures such as walls, floors, ceilings, roofing systems, siding, and cabinetry using hand tools and power tools
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and flooring installation with precision and safety in mind
- Install drywall, tiles, siding, and perform finishing work including caulking and painting for restoration or new construction projects
- Assist with plumbing and electrical tasks where applicable, ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Conduct heavy lifting safely while managing materials and equipment on-site
- Collaborate with project managers to estimate materials needed and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a strong background in carpentry and woodworking
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings effectively
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery (Computer Numerical Control), and other relevant equipment
- Knowledge of concrete forming techniques, masonry work, roofing systems, siding installation, flooring installation, tile laying, and drywall finishing
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and project planning
- Experience in restoration projects or handyman work is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems is advantageous

Pay: $26.60-$30.00 per hour
