Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to oversee our company’s financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires strong expertise in accounting software and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. The Controller will play a critical role in safeguarding company assets and providing leadership to the finance team.
Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to support business objectives.
- Oversee account reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other platforms to streamline financial operations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and internal policies.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
- Assist in audit preparations and coordinate with external auditors as needed.
- Develop internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Controller or in a senior accounting role with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms.
- Extensive knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, budgeting, and account reconciliation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and lead a finance team effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
- Prior experience with account analysis and internal controls is highly desirable.

Pay: $115,000.00-$138,877.67 per year
