Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Psychotherapist to join our clinic team. This role involves providing specialized mental health services within a community office setting, focusing on patients across various age groups, including adolescents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychotherapy, mental health and working as a contractor. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' mental health and overall well-being through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for patients, including children and adolescents, to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide psychotherapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques tailored to patient needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure holistic treatment approaches.
- Manage case documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and data collection for ongoing evaluation.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
- Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust therapeutic approaches as necessary to optimize outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with medical terminology standards and confidentiality regulations throughout all patient interactions.
Skills
- Proven experience working with adults and adolescents in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to mental health
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations.
- Familiarity with special education needs and integrating educational considerations into treatment plans is a plus.
- Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Prior private practice experience is advantageous for understanding community environment. Pay: $75.00-$90.00 per hour
