Condominium Administrator/Assistant Property Manager
General Overview
CMC is looking to hire a condominium administrator/assistant property manager who would be responsible for assisting and coordinating all property management, administrative and maintenance activities alongside a team of 2-3 fully licensed Condominium Managers. Duties and responsibilities will include assisting the Manager in the day to day running of condominium buildings, responding to requests and inquiries, receiving and processing CEF payments, following up on arrears, and general record keeping and filing. The ideal candidate would be someone who is currently enrolled in the CMRAO Property Management courses or has expressed interest in taking the courses to become a licensed condominium manager.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare notices, letters and correspondences as needed
- Update unit owner records in database and file share program
- Complete amenity and elevator booking requests
- Attend to resident inquiries and follow up in timely manner
- Prepare accounts payable invoices with work orders, stamp and code invoices for Manager to code and approve
- Draft monthly Board Meeting packages for Manager review and approval
- Assist with annual budget preparation and Annual General Meeting notice packages
- Attend monthly board meetings as necessary and take the minutes of the meeting
Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Requirements
- Ideal candidate will hold a valid Limited License with the CMRAO or be actively enrolled in the ACMO courses to obtain their license
- Minimum of a High School Diploma
- Exceptional time management, detail orientation, organization skills and proactive problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal, phone and customer service skills
- Ability to establish strong relationships with owners, vendors, coworkers etc.
- Proficient English oral and written skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office platforms such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge and experience working with Property Management software will be considered an asset
- Energetic, organized, self-motivated, collaborative, adaptable, and flexible
- Capacity to learn easily and ability to work with little supervision
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
