Duties
- Prepare and assemble a variety of pizzas, ensuring quality, presentation, and adherence to recipes and food safety standards
- Cook pizzas to perfection using ovens and other kitchen equipment, maintaining proper temperature controls
- Handle food ingredients safely, including chopping, mixing, and portioning ingredients for optimal freshness and flavor
- Serve customers at the counter or drive-thru with a positive attitude, taking orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate cash register systems, process transactions, and manage customer payments with professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment regularly
- Assist in stocking supplies, rotating ingredients, and ensuring all food handling procedures meet health regulations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we provide training!
- Familiarity with serving customers in a fast-paced setting enhances your ability to thrive here
- Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices is advantageous
- Experience with food handling standards ensures safe practices during meal preparation
