About the Opportunity
Our partner is a well-established general contractor and construction manager based in Calgary, delivering a growing portfolio of concurrent commercial and multi-family residential projects across the city and surrounding region. With a focus on early involvement in preconstruction to protect cost, schedule, and design intent, they are looking to add an Assistant Project Manager to support project delivery from preconstruction through closeout, working closely with the project management team to build toward future project leadership.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Support the Project Manager in coordinating budget, schedule, and quality across active commercial and multi-family projects
Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project documentation
Coordinate with subcontractors and trade partners on scheduling, scope clarification, and site logistics
Attend site meetings and help monitor progress against project milestones and quality standards
Support procurement, material tracking, and close-out documentation
Assist with cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting to the Project Manager
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
2–5 years of experience in an Assistant Project Manager, Senior Project Coordinator, or similar support role within ICI or multi-family residential construction
Working knowledge of construction documents, drawings, and specifications
Familiarity with project management software (Procore or similar)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Working knowledge of the Calgary construction market considered an asset
Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, or a related field (Gold Seal Certification an asset)
About the Job
This is a permanent, full-time role based in Calgary, offering a competitive salary commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package. $95,000 to $105,000.
