Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Produce Associate / Quality Control Assistant to join our daytime operations team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of fruits and vegetables, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining high product quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Inspect fruits and vegetables to ensure quality, freshness, and proper presentation
- Assist with receiving, sorting, and organizing produce shipments
- Lift and move boxes and products up to 50 lbs safely
- Monitor product condition and report any quality concerns or damaged items
- Rotate stock and maintain proper inventory organization
- Prepare products for customer orders and distribution
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and food-safe at all times
- Work closely with warehouse and sales teams to maintain product standards
Qualifications
- Knowledge or experience with fresh fruits and vegetables preferred
- Previous warehouse, produce, grocery, or quality control experience is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Forklift experience is considered an asset
- Ability to work through out the daytime hours consistently

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
