Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shop Cleaning Crew member to maintain cleanliness and safety within our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks to ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment for staff and visitors. This role is essential in supporting the overall operations and maintaining the professional appearance of our workspace.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, power washing, and trash removal throughout the shop area
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas regularly
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment, tools, and work surfaces to meet safety standards
- Conduct routine facilities maintenance tasks such as replacing supplies and minor repairs as needed
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to ensure a hazard-free environment
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as assigned
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and climbing ladders if necessary
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role
Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
