Duties
- Serve a variety of beverages, snacks, and light food items directly from the beverage cart to golfers on the course
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for accurate cash handling and transactions
- Manage inventory levels on the cart, restocking supplies as needed to ensure availability throughout the day
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the cart, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Collect payments accurately using cash handling skills and process transactions efficiently
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple groups promptly while ensuring quality service at all times
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred; familiarity with serving in outdoor or fast-paced environments is a plus
- Experience with POS systems similar cash register technology
- Strong customer service skills with a positive, energetic attitude
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate loads throughout shifts
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen work is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
