Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paint Protection Installer to join our dynamic automotive team. Duties
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, and masking to ensure optimal adhesion of paint protection films, coatings, and polishes.
- Install paint protection films with precision, ensuring seamless application without bubbles or wrinkles.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to trim, shape, and secure protective films on various vehicle surfaces.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to guarantee a flawless finish that meets company standards.
- Assist in vehicle detailing and minor repairs as needed to support overall vehicle presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to complete installations efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a dealership or automotive environment is highly required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity using hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair techniques.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks required for vehicle preparation and installation.
- Experience with automotive detailing or repair work is required.
- Basic understanding of automotive surfaces and materials used in paint protection applications.
- Tinting, and vehicle wrap experience an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain high standards of quality.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role.
