- Assist arborists with tree removals, pruning, planting and other arboricultural tasks
- Develop skills and knowledge in tree care, including pruning, cabling/bracing, and root management
- Opportunity to begin learning modern tree climbing skills based on aptitude and job performance
- Assist with brush handling, rope handling for rigging, chainsaw operation, chipper operation, driving trucks, client communication, and safe work practices
- Operate ground equipment, larger vehicles, towing trailers, and stump grinding equipment
- Work outdoors every day, where job safety is top priority
- Contribute to the advancement of our profession through education, volunteering/participating at industry events and tree climbing competitions
- Provide stellar customer service and work with attention to detail, professionalism, and courtesy toward customers and their property
- Completion of High School required. Manitoba Arborist Training Program or equivalent plant knowledge is an asset. Field work or outdoor work experience is an asset but not necessary.
- Valid driver's license required and must be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle. Air endorsement is an asset.
