Qualifications – Ontario Industrial Facility
- Previous general labour experience (required)
- Previous experience operating equipment in an industrial environment is required
- Ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: 3-month assignment with possibility of permanent employment
- Must be available to work afternoon/evening shifts from Monday to Thursday
- Hours: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM
Responsibilities:
Press Operators are responsible for safely operating industrial press equipment and supporting production activities in accordance with workplace safety and quality standards. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Operate press equipment and perform production tasks according to established procedures
- Load, unload, and handle materials while maintaining safe and efficient production flow
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and production standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all workplace health and safety procedures
- Report equipment issues, product defects, or other production concerns to the appropriate supervisor
Note: Duties may vary slightly based on operational requirements, with specific guidance provided during site orientation.
Experience:
- Previous general labour experience (required)
- Previous experience working in an industrial environment is required
- Experience operating industrial machinery or press equipment is an asset
- Ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
