Barista / All-Rounder

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated, reliable, and customer-focused Barista / All-Rounder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, assisting with food preparation, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting the daily operations of our café. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in providing an outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee, espresso beverages, teas, and other drinks to company standards.
- Welcome customers, take orders, and provide friendly, professional service.
- Operate the POS system (Toast experience is considered an asset) and accurately process cash, debit, and credit card transactions.
- Prepare sandwiches, wraps, baked goods, and other food items while following food safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment at all times.
- Restock inventory, supplies, and display items throughout each shift.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Follow all health, safety, and food handling regulations.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, fast-food environment is required.
- Barista experience is preferred.
- Experience with food preparation and food handling.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and cash-handling experience.
- Experience using a POS system (Toast experience is an asset).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional.
