Our client is searching for an Accounting Manager to work on a 2 month contract. The key responsibilities of the Accounting Manager are:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements including monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
- Review and reconcile Balance Sheet accounts
- Oversee budgeting & forecasting as well as variance analysis
- Manage cash flow and liquidity by monitoring banking activities.
- Provide oversight of small Finance team
The ideal individual is a designated accountant (CPA or equivalent) with 7+ years of progressive accounting experience including proven experience as an Accounting Manager.
In addition to the above, the following skills and experience are also desired:
- Full cycle accounting experience and ASPE reporting experience
- Experience with financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
- Experience with cash flow management
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- QuickBooks Desktop experience would be a big asset
- Advanced Excel skills
