Overview
Winstorm Projects Ltd. is a growing landscape construction and waterproofing company serving Guelph, Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, and surrounding areas.
We are looking for an experienced Landscape Construction Foreman to lead a crew and manage residential landscape construction projects with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, leads by example, and can confidently organize and complete projects safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a crew of 2–4 employees.
- Read plans, perform layouts, and organize daily work.
- Install retaining walls, interlock, drainage systems, waterproofing, decks, fences, and grading projects.
- Operate skid steers, mini excavators, compactors, and other landscape construction equipment.
- Coordinate materials and ensure the correct products are on site.
- Maintain quality workmanship and job site safety.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and management.
- Complete daily progress reports and site photos.
- Train and mentor crew members.
- Keep projects on schedule while maintaining Winstorm’s quality standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of landscape construction experience.
- Previous Foreman or Crew Leader experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of retaining walls, interlock, drainage, grading, and excavation.
- Experience operating landscape construction equipment.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems on site.
- Valid G Class driver’s licence required.
- DZ or AZ driver’s licence considered an asset.
- Clean driving record.
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
