Glazing Estimator – High-Rise Division

About the Role
Newmar Window Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Architectural Glazing Estimator to join our High-Rise Division. This role is ideal for someone with direct estimating experience involving window wall, curtain wall, or architectural glazing systems for commercial or high-rise construction projects.
Working closely with the Estimation Manager, you will review tender documents, perform detailed quantity take-offs, and prepare accurate estimates for glazing packages. This is an active vacancy within our team. Candidates should have hands-on experience estimating glazing systems, as general construction estimating experience alone is not sufficient for this position.
Responsibilities
- Review architectural drawings, project specifications, tender documents, scopes of work, thermal reports, acoustic reports, and other project documentation.
- Perform accurate material quantity take-offs for window wall, curtain wall, and architectural glazing systems.
- Interpret construction drawings and identify project requirements and scope.
- Prepare and issue requests for pricing from suppliers and subcontractors as required.
- Develop accurate and competitive project estimates using Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Excel.
- Coordinate with internal departments throughout the estimating process.
- Report directly to the Estimation Manager, High-Rise Division.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of estimating experience within the window wall, curtain wall, architectural glazing, or commercial glazing industry.
- Strong understanding of window wall components, glazing systems, installation methods, and industry terminology.
- Ability to confidently interpret architectural and construction drawings.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and quantity take-off skills.
- Working knowledge of high-rise glazing practices, applicable building codes, and building envelope systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple project deadlines.

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
