Brown’s is seeking a detail-orientated and organized Front Desk Receptionist for our Cold Lake Bobcat Dealership & Shop. As the first point of contact for customers, the receptionist plays a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment at Browns Industrial. This position supports the Service, Parts, Sales, and Rental departments by managing front desk operations and performing administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to assist in pre-qualifying buyers and supporting quote preparation.
Key responsibilities:
- Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Answering and routing incoming phone calls to the appropriate department
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable reception area
- Process customer payments and assist with the accounts payable invoice processing.
- Assist Sales staff in the pre-qualifying and quoting process
- Enter and update customer information accurately in CRM systems for sales tracking
- Coordinate with sales representatives to ensure timely follow-up with leads and inquiries
- Assist customers with basic information on available inventory, promotions, and financing options (within scope)
- Ensure all required documentation is collected and complete before forwarding to sales or finance departments
- Assist Sales and Construction Services teams with documentation and clerical work (i.e., scan and file documentation, preparing documents, updating databases)
- Support for Construction Field Services and administration teams with data entry
- Prepare receipts for client deposits, enter tickets into Open invoice
- Monitor office supplies
- Handling customer complaints and concerns, escalating issues as necessary to management
Role Requirements:
- High school diploma required.
- Previous experience in reception, customer service, administrative roles, or sales support (automotive industry is an asset)
- 3+ year of customer service experience preferred.
- proficiency in office management software, such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required to effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and team members.
- Ability to compose professional emails and handle phone conversations clearly and courteously.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Candidate must have a valid Class 5 drivers license and provide a drivers abstract.
- Candidate must also pass a Drug & Alcohol Test and Physical Demand Analysis.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
