Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Chef to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role involves preparing delicious pizzas and providing excellent food service to our customers. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation standards
- Serve customers at the counter or table with professionalism and friendliness
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas throughout shifts
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure high-quality meals
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations during busy hours
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or kitchen setting
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards in the food industry
- Strong serving skills with excellent customer service abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic meal preparation skills with an understanding of kitchen equipment and tools
- Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
- Prior experience in pizza making or familiarity with the food industry is preferred but not required
