We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. Duties
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication inventory.
- Provide support in medication administration under the supervision of licensed pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
- Answer patient inquiries regarding medications and health products, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and medication management.
- Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the pharmacy area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Stay updated on pharmaceutical regulations and best practices to enhance service delivery.
- Perform customer service duties such as cash register and answering phone calls with courtesy and respect.
Requirements
- Previous experience in pharmacy is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy operations is essential.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on patient care and customer service.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with medication administration processes is an advantage.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills are required for maintaining accurate records.
