Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used properly and maintained in good condition
- Follow safety protocols and procedures during all cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to company policies regarding sanitation, hygiene, and confidentiality
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed
- Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- Must be a Canadian citizen
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Good physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and maintain confidentiality of client information
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
