Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician apprentice to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for aiding in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction. This position requires strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and will to learn new skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Aid in diagnosing and repair vehicle issues using power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems
- Provide accurate communicate with to inform customers regarding necessary repairs and costs
- Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
