Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Fuel Truck Operator and take charge of safely transporting and delivering fuel to various locations. You will also be responsible to fuel equipment on site. Duties
- Load and unload fuel using appropriate equipment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and proper handling procedures
- Drive safely and efficiently on route driving schedules, maintaining compliance with all traffic laws and company policies
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of trucks and trailers, including checking for leaks, tire conditions, brakes, lights, and load security
- Manage documentation such as delivery logs, fuel tickets, route sheets, and incident reports accurately and promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of trucks to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site foreman to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that arise during routes
Skills
- Proven experience in truck driving, especially with tractor-trailers or commercial vehicles such as tanker.
- Strong knowledge of manual transmission operation and proficiency in handling various truck types including dump trucks and forklift operation when necessary
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to transporting hazardous materials or fuel (where applicable)
- Physical stamina for long hours on the road; ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and mounting and dismounting large equipment to refuel
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with dispatch teams and customers

Pay: $31.00-$33.00 per hour
