Eitz Chaim Schools (Girls Division), an Orthodox Jewish Day School for girls, is seeking applicants for a General Studies teacher (Junior Division) beginning September 2026.
Candidates must have the following qualifications and skills:
- Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) member in good standing or equivalent teacher certification
- Knowledge of Ontario curriculum in applicable subject areas
- Excellent classroom management
- Professionalism, flexibility, collaborative nature
- Excellent communication skills
- Drive for lifelong learning and growth
The following training and demonstrated competencies would be an asset:
- Teaching experience, ideally in a similar school setting
- Having a deep understanding of suitable pedagogies with relevance to various learning styles
- Experience in implementing student-centred, interactive, and collaborative learning
- Ability to capably assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback
- Experience collaborating with other teachers, support staff, parents, and administration
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $35,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
