Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable Part-Time Crew Members to join our team in delivering exceptional food service experiences. This role involves supporting daily restaurant operations, assisting with food preparation, and providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will be motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about the food industry, with a focus on maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards and recipes
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders, upselling menu items when appropriate
- Manage cashier duties accurately, including handling cash transactions and giving correct change
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, kitchen equipment, and dining spaces
- Maintain efficient time management to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Support team members in serving customers promptly and courteously
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and sanitation standards
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during shifts
- Basic understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
- Kitchen experience or restaurant experience is advantageous
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
