CanPro Roofing Partners
CanPro is committed to building Canada's best-in-class commercial roofing platform by partnering with high-quality companies serving institutional, commercial, and industrial markets, with a focus on roof replacement, restoration, and ongoing maintenance services.
Our goal is to elevate and strengthen Canada's commercial roofing industry by uniting reputable, trustworthy owner-operators within a national platform built on quality, service, and safety.
Overview
There is no marketing function at CanPro today. You are building it, and running it.
The core deliverable is a “marketing in a box” playbook: a repeatable, scalable framework that can be deployed across our operating companies with minimal lift at the local level. Beyond the playbook, you will personally execute the highest-leverage activities, brand, social media and email marketing, while directing freelancers for everything else.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy & Playbook
- Design and document the CanPro “marketing in a box” playbook, a deployable, multi-entity framework covering brand, content, social, email, and partner-level activation;
- Set a phased roadmap for marketing maturity across the platform;
- Build and manage the marketing budget within agreed parameters;
Hands-On Execution
- Own social media strategy and execution;
- Own email marketing via HubSpot: list management, segmentation, automation, and campaigns;
- Execute targeted list marketing campaigns to B2B audiences;
- Use AI tools as a daily workflow standard to maximize output within the available time;
Freelancer Direction
- Source, brief, and manage freelancers for design, copy, paid media, and other gaps outside your core strengths;
- Hold freelancers accountable to deliverables and budget;
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with GMs and Culture Ambassadors at operating companies for local content and brand consistency;
- Provide the CEO with simple, periodic reporting on activity and performance;
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Experience
- 8–10 years of B2B marketing experience, you understand longer sales cycles, professional buyers, and relationship-driven markets;
- Prior fractional, consulting, or multi-client experience, you know how to plug into a company quickly and work independently;
- Agency background a strong asset;
Core Strengths Required
- Excellence in social media strategy and execution, you have built and grown B2B social presence, not just managed posts;
- Excellence in email marketing via HubSpot, campaigns, automation, segmentation, and list management;
- Comfort owning a budget and directing freelancers without a management layer;
- Hands-on AI tool proficiency, used daily to extend what a part-time engagement can cover;
Logistics
- East Coast North America preferred;
- Must be eligible to work as an independent contractor in Canada;
- Occasional travel to operating locations may be required (expenses covered).
