Day-to-day Responsibilities
The Warehouse Associate's duties include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring a clean and secure warehouse environment for seamless daily operations
- Monitoring the flow of materials, stock, and equipment entering and leaving the warehouse
- Performing pickups and deliveries using a company vehicle to transport parts and equipment as needed
- Keeping inventory control software current to enhance product visibility and reduce inventory losses
- Ensuring accuracy and timeliness in updating inventory systems, including adding and removing items
- Receiving and meticulously inspecting orders, promptly addressing any discrepancies
- Maintaining optimal inventory levels (minimum and maximum)
- Preparing equipment for installation teams
- Coordinating and organizing fleet maintenance activities
- Responsively handling inquiries from other departments, especially regarding returned units and tracking the status of shipped units
- Potential requirement for weekend work shifts
Qualifications
- “G’ Class driving license
- Exceptional organizational skills and a strong work ethic.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing time efficiently.
- A proactive, hands-on team player with a knack for process improvement.
- Physical capability to lift moderate to heavy materials (up to 100 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Forklift license an asset.
