Overview
We are seeking friendly, attentive, and professional Restaurant Servers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are strictly followed during food handling and serving
- Assist in setting up tables, refilling supplies, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area
- Address guest inquiries promptly, providing excellent guest services and resolving any issues professionally
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order entry and cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for serving guests and collaborating with team members
- Basic math skills for bill calculation, change handling, and inventory management
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous but not required
- Demonstrated ability in upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and revenue generation
