Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Mover/Driver to support pickup and delivery to vendor markets at Sankofa Square, Bathurst Commons and Scarborough for 8 specific dates. This role involves transporting and assisting with the movement of boxes and equipment efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a van, experience in moving, or commercial driving, along with good communication skills. Duties
- Safely load, unload, and transport items using appropriate moving equipment and vehicles
- Ensure all items are secured properly during transit to prevent damage
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving equipment and vehicles
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate moving schedules and address any concerns
- Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws during commercial driving activities
Requirements
- Prior experience in moving, warehouse work, or commercial driving preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds or more)
- Vehicle is required
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for clients
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
