Office Receptionist
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Office Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for visitors, customers, and service partners. An Office Receptionist plays an important role in supporting our daily operations and helping our sales and service teams deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Customer Service
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate sales and service personnel.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email or in person
- Provide basic product or service information to customers when needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized and welcoming reception area
Administrative & Office Support
- Assist with preparing quotes, service orders, and job files for the valve sales/service teams
- Assist with data entry, filing, photocopying, and document preparation
- Support inventory or parts inquiries by coordinating with warehouse or service staff
Recordkeeping & Compliance
- Maintain accurate visitor logs
- Handle confidential information with discretion
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and security protocols
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Strong typing skills with accurate and efficient data entry
- Good communication and customer service abilities
- Proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office, email systems)
- Organized, detail-oriented and able to muti-task
- Previous receptionist or administrative experience is an asset
Work Schedule
· Monday to Friday
· Full-time (8-hour shifts)
· No weekends
Compensation
· Pay: $20 - $22 per hour
