Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, schematics, and industrial equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations across manufacturing and renovation projects. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that enhance facility performance and safety.
Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial environments, including low voltage wiring and control panels.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute electrical installations accurately.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform maintenance and installation tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues and perform preventive maintenance.
- Assist with renovation and construction projects by integrating new electrical components into existing infrastructure.
- PLC programming an asset.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
Skills
- Proven experience (3 Years) as an industrial electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems in manufacturing or construction environments.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Strong knowledge of low voltage wiring, PLC programming, and automation controls.
- Familiarity with schematics related to industrial equipment and control systems.
- Handyman experience is a plus for versatile troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail for safe and effective work execution. This position requires a dedicated professional capable of working independently or as part of a team while maintaining high safety standards across all tasks performed.
Pay: $29.77-$30.50 per hour
