We are seeking an Order Desk Coordinator individual to join our team!
***Please note this is a Full Time Office Position in this High Paced Hydraulic and Pneumatic Distribution Company located in Mississauga near Pearson International Airport.
Description:
This role is responsible for entering customer orders, coordinating with customers and internal teams, managing communications, and ensuring timely order processing and delivery. Supports order expediting and basic project coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately entering customer orders into a Proprietary Database
- Communicate effectively with customers, sales, and warehouse teams
- Manage email and electronic communications related to orders
- Monitor and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery
- Provide support for project coordination and management
Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience or background in hydraulics and/or pneumatics
- Familiarity with Parker Hannifin Limited products is a must
- Basic mechanical knowledge and hands-on ability
- Previous sales experience is an asset
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Comfortable operating small machinery (e.g., hydraulic hose crimper) as needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation required
- Candidates MUST have experience with Parker Hannifin products
- Candidates MUST have a background in hydraulics or pneumatics
